Dev Team made a new post today talking about what has changed in the 2.2 update and warning you not to update if you wish to keep your jailbreak. Thankfully they do say that the jailbreak for 2.2 will be released soon. They also note that they are not currectly working on the iPod Touch 2g jailbreak, which is a let down, but hopefully they will hurry and finish 3G unlock so they can get to work on it. And as i said in my last post i will be doing a video on the jailbreak, so please people don’t ask me a million times if i will make a video. If you would like to check out they’re post and see whats changed here is the link. Continue reading »
Just found out that the 2.2 firmware has been released in iTunes. Now I’m making this post from the Wordpress app on my iPhone so I haven’t got a chance to upgrade just yet. For you people that just can’t wait to upgrade I do want to warn you. The 2.2 jailbreak hasn’t been released just yet so you may have to wait a little while for the jailbreak. Now as soon as it is released I will post a video telling you exactly what to do. Just a little note for you people that have a jailbroken device now and are going to upgrade, I recommend you restore your device first, make sure you set it up as new, then upgrade it. And as i said i haven’t tried it out yet so i will probably make a video showing you guys all the new features tomorrow. Happy upgrading! UPDATE: I added a list of all the new features read on to check them out. Continue reading »
Well, here we are again. The Dev Team has posted a new video showing the progress of the unlock and saying they are closer. The post is called “The silicon chip inside her head…” you can click the text to read they’re post on it because they can explain it better than i can. Still, i would really rather see the second generation iPod jailbreak before the 3G unlock so i can quit getting asked “how do i jailbreak my 2nd gen ipod touch?” Ill post the video if you continue reading but it may be japanese to a lot of you.
Lets hope they get this done so they can work on the second gen! Continue reading »
iMobileCinema is an new flash plugin for Safari. It allows you to watch videos in your Safari browser, not just youtube. But there is one problem with this amazing app, its only out for 1.1.x firmwares. But the developers do say that a 2.x version is coming also so just be patient. To install just add the source to your Installer. Source: http://d.imobilecinema.com I have a nice video demo if you will be kind, as to read on. Continue reading »
Yesterday the new update to the Google Mobile app was released in the App Store. Friday was the actual set release date but Apple was holding back on it for some reason. Anyways, the new app brought a very big update, which is Voice Search. If you have an iPhone, or the second gen iPod Touch, you really need to check this app out. The voice recognition from what i tried wasn’t all that great. That may be because of my country accent though. But i expect lots of updates to come to the google mobile app to help improve the voice feature. So if you’d like to try it out you can download it by clicking Here. Ill have a couple screen shots if you continue reading. Continue reading »

The Power Slider boasts an internal battery that can double the battery life of your iPhone 3G. It comes equipped with a custom-designed lithium-ion polymer battery that allows for continuous charge to the iPhone’s own battery. When in use, the Power Slider’s battery will drain first before your iPhone’s battery is even touched.
According to the NY Times and lots of talk on the internet Google is preparing to release a software that will allow you to search with your voice! Microsoft said a while back that they were going to be releasing the same kind of app but apparently Google will beat them to it. NY Times says that the app was expected to be released last friday, but i haven’t seen anything saying that its been released so ill keep you posted on that. The app will use the sensor to tell when you hold your iPhone up to your face to know when you want it to listen. The app will be able to understand just about any question you ask it by sending it your recording to googles servers to decode it. UPDATE: Thanks to MertenNor he posted a youtube video of this continue reading to check it out. Continue reading »
Sadly, today the awesome site known as TheMonkeysBall.com was shut down. They still have a page up though explaining everything that happen if you’d like to see it check out the site for yourself. They were one of the first sites to host cracked apps, and by far one of the best. If you will read what they say on their site they mention that “Mr. Haklab” will probably take credit for this shutdown. Mr. Haklab is the guy that owns haklab.com, which is the anti Apple cracking site, ive made a post about it before. And of course he post on his site that he is the one responsible for getting it shut down. Anyways im about fed up with this guy. So i think we make him pay for his stupidness, and when i say pay, i literally mean pay. Read on to see my plan. Continue reading »
