Facebook Buys Instagram for $1 Billion
Instagram was just purchased by Facebook for $1 billion...here are my thoughts. btw, Mark Zuckerburg is an idiot, he paid $1 billion for Instagram when he could've downloaded for free in the App Store. lol ;P

Regarding the FB purchase of IG. I personally think FB feared IG. They've alone reached 500 million users alone on iPhone within 1yr and 3 months. Once FB heard the release of the android app for IG, he knew he possibility of it'd growth. IG could be the only company that could give zuckerberg heartburn. See Facebook started as a Internet social network company. Instagram started as a mobile social networking media. More people are mobile now a days. More and more people are buying mobile devices and constantly are on the go. With networks improving and faster networks.... I don't blame him for buying out IG for a billion. Imagine if Instagram decided to take there product and inter grated it with a similar site as Facebook. That's my 50 cents
