iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Windows Jailbreak w/ Cinject
Exciting news! The Dev Team has released the Windows Jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 in a command line interface. Its not as simple as the one click Jailbreak for Mac is at the current moment but hopefully we will have a one click jailbreak for Windows also. For now I'm not going to do a video on this Jailbreak since its a little more complicated but you will find the written guide inside the post. I would strongly suggest just being patient for the one click jailbreak.

Notes:
- Make sure your updated to the latest version of iTunes and iOS 5.0.1 on your iPhone 4S or iPad 2.
- If you have a passcode lock set for your device, turn it off while you do the jailbreak or it wont work.
- If you continue having issues, a fresh restore should help. I would just suggest waiting for the one click though.
Guide:
1: Download and extract version 0.4.3 CLI tool to the root of your hard drive. To do this right click, select "extract files..." or "extract all" and then erase everything in the middle of your "drive name\" and "cinject_0.4.3" so it should look something like this: "C:\cinject_0.4.3".
2: Now connect your device to your computer and make sure your passcode lock is OFF.
3: Open a command prompt by searching in the windows start menu for "cmd" or just find "command prompt". Make sure to right click on it and run it as an administrator.
4: Type and/or copy/paste the following commands into the CMD window line by line and hit enter after each.
cd \
cd cinject_0.4.3
cd cinject_0.4.3 (yes, do it twice)
cinject -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig
5: Now you should have an "Install Profile" pop up on your device. Just click install on it, confirm again by tapping "Install Now". Once it asks for the password just ignore that and click next, then click done on the next page. Now set your device down.
6: Now go back to the command promt open on your computer and type the following commands just as you did before.
cinject.exe -j payloads (wait until its done creating the backup to continue)
cinject.exe -w (wait until it has stopped scrolling, btw ignore the errors.)
7: Now you need to turn on VPN on your device. Just go to Settings > Network > VPN, and turn it on. You see a jailbreak profile in your VPN settings as well. You will get an error on your device as well as in the command prompt just ignore then and be patient. Your iPhone should reboot
8: Once you see "installing filemover and your device is at the unlock screen you should be done! Check your device and you should have Cydia!

i type in the cd cinject_0.4.3 twice and nothing happens
try taking the cinject_0.4.3 folder out of the folder named the same and move it to your desktop
then cd desktop
then cd cinject_0.4.3
and then do the other steps
hi ty after i type the last command " cinject -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig" nothing happends, cmd yust stands and ticks forever plz help! :D
just a few reminder
when u extract the file /after extracted it
please make sure the cinject_0.4.3 has no an extra folder (which is the same name ) in it
since all the content are actually packed in that folder
so what you have to do is cut all the content in inner folder to the outter cinject 0.4.3 folder
also, suggest u guys disable the auto lock feature since it will stop the jailbreaking when ur phone turn black (locked)

Okay so after typing in "cinject -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig" and clicking "enter" it says "send 1: Result too large". Whats the mean? Please help. My email is elijahrolinskyy@gmail.com.

how long is it suppose to stay on creating backup?
my iphone wont reboot....i didnt press ok on the vpn connection i just let it sit but it wont reboot...PLEASE HELP!!!

then type in
cinject -j payloads
that work when i do it like this

its says its too large.
I turn VPN on and the error appears but it wont reboot HELP
well, first of all, you don't have to open the folder twice on the cmd because everything will be set up in one folder under the the name Cinject_0.4.3 so you don't have to type that command twice anyway because nothing will happen.
second, of all. back up gets stuck based on how much u have used of a content on your device so it might take hours, but even if you back it up completely. it still won't work
because the Error on the VPN connection should not be there. and when you get that message, ignoring it or not will not make a difference, it's simply the VPN connection wrong it could be the setting or could be the server itself.
bottom line, it will not work, SO DON'T TRY
do i have to press ok when the error code pops up? if anyone is sucessful can you help me?

Worked perfectly. Easy directions, though my other laptop had issues saying the procedure entry point CFConstantClass reference was not found in CoreFoundation.dll to which I couldn't resolve... Switched laptop and did it with no problems
After i entered cinject.exe -w it says 'ASL is here to serve you' but nothing happens then :-(

After step 7 my ipad does not rebot
I'm having the same issue. My ipad 2 doesn't reboot after step 7.
how long does "creating the backup" take? It shows the sync icon on my iphone, so I assume it is still in progress and not stucked.
