jail break ipod touch 3.1.2(sorry you guys prob get this a lot)

hay guys,
i have been trying to jailbrake my ipod touch for the past days now and i'm having no success with it.
i got it for christmas its an 8gb
and i have fallowed

like evry thing works but when it restarts i dont see the app on my ipod

i tryed every step but still stuck on wait for reboot..after ipod reboots nothing happens.. i have 3.1.2 3gs plz help

umm...do you have an iPod Touch or a iphone 3gs? you have said both.
I kinda skipped through the video, not sure if it had this step, did you open task manager and go to processes and look for and close iTunesHelper.exe?

I would reboot the computer (to make sure some other iTunes stuff that needs to be running is running), plug in your iDevice, close iTunes. hit ctr+alt+del to open task manager, go to processes, close the iTunesHelper.exe (only) and try blackra1n again (make sure its version RC3), if it hangs or goes to the iTunes logo on your iPod/iPhone after it is done, simply run blackra1n a second time. it should boot up.

i did what you said but ti still goes to a blank black screen and if i restart it its back to normal and i dont see the logo

mate not be sound rude but i have done all this, it just keeps coming up with a black screen on the ipod after finish recovery mode
i dono how i can explain this

eirlyer on i left it for about 30min and it restarted but nuthin happen still

i feel like such an idot every one is getting theres jailbroken in like 3min and yet its taking me 10 hours

This isnt the first time i have seen this happen. One computer will not do it, another will. Heck once i have seen a computer put it into a very bad blackscreen. would not turn on. wouldnt reboot, nothing. Had to put it into recovery. holding home and plugging it in to get it to restore.
I wish we could narrow the computer issue down, figure out what it is that causes it.
Maybe the .netframeworks?

yes. thats what a tethered jailbreak is. you have to do it on that computer every time.
