iphone 3gs flat signal bars

hello, i purchased a iphone 3gs from ebay and after about 2 weeks of using it, i can no longer get signal bars.
i have tried many of my friends with iphones sim card but it still does not work.
i jailbroken and unlocked it with blackrain when i first got it and it was perfect for about 2 weeks.
anyone else has had this problem?
any sim card will work in the phone except the one from the provider in japan that has the contract for the iphone.

i would say if you bought it from ebay there is a chance it could be a knockoff , iphone , i have had mine and its has full , signal , since i have had it , i would contact your service provider or apple and see what is happening and , see what they say maybe you can get a replacement ? , just have a word with withe both of them on the phone

Go under Settings>General>Reset and Reset Network Settings. See if that brings it back for you.

tried that many times... network settings reset, all settings reset, still nothing.

no one else has this problem...
my email and safari works just fine, but i cant place a call or send text messages.
since i didnt get the phone in japan my cell phone provider will not touch the phone, i dont think they know whats up with it either.
