Jailbreak 3.1? Read this!

Hello everybody,

Here is a list of things you SHOULD NOT install on firmware 3.1 in Cydia.

1) Winterboard

2)MMSfor2g (for 2G users)

Any other applications that give you problems on 3.1, just leave it in the comments below.

(Update 1: Winterboard is now SAFE to install. Works with 3.1)

What did you even use to jailbreak 3.1?

There hasn't been anything officialy released yet.

Yes, Pwnage Tool was just released for Mac OS X.

Did you make your own firmware gamelover and what device do you have because that jailbreak only works for certain ones

I used an iPhone 2G with Pwnage Tool 3.1 on OS X Snow Leopard.

The Jailbreak also works for iPod Touch 1G and iPhone 3G.

Yes I read the whole post about it I have a PC so I have to wait to jailbreak my 3g iphone and also my 2g dont know what went wrong on yours did you follow the directions completely

I think you are misunderstanding the post. I am telling people not to install Winterboard because it messes everything up.

you can still hack it if somebody sends you a custom ipsw. PM me i'll make you one, just tell me which device your using.

theres the link for 1st gen ipod touch. put your ipod into dfu mode and restore using that file.
