View Full Version : winterboard reboot issue

i have jailbroke my ipod touch 2.2.1 and went to install winterboard and when i went to reboot it died. i have a blank screen and it wont do anything. i have tried resetting it, when i plug it to my laptop running xp it is not recognized and it also will not go into dfu mode so i dont know what to do and i am at a loss. anybody with some help or advice please help.

plug it in for a bit make sure battery wasn't dead ..then if that don't work plug it up to pc and hold power button for like 10 sec's then hold power and home together for like 7 sec's then release power and keep holding home you should here a chime and then see mesage that says iTunes has detected a iPhone/iPod in recovery or some shit like that then restore ...hope it helps let me know

the battery is full and when i plug it to the pc and hold the home and power i dont get the chime. instead of the chime i just get another usb device not recognized message.

thanks it went into dfu mode while i watched that video. weird because that was what i was trying to do in the first place but o well no complaints. thanks alot for the help
