Apple just released OS 3.1.3, which you can download right now through iTunes. I don’t see what the point of releasing this small update besides making us have to wait for a jailbreak for it but oh well. The only new features mentioned are improved reporting of battery level on the iPhone 3G S, fixes for problems with the Japanese Kana keyboard, and some issues where third-party apps would fail to launch. Let us know in the comments if you find any more new features or fixes that wasn’t mentioned. If you don’t want to use iTunes to download the firmwares we have direct links to download them inside. Now we just have to wait on a jailbreak….:). Continue Reading…

Just wanted to let you guys know that if you do update to 3.1.3 on your iPhone or iPod Touch then you will lose your jailbreak and may have a bug stopping you from jailbreaking again so don’t yet. So just a quick heads up for everyone.

People want Flash but don’t know the consequences it will bring along. So heres the issue. Everyone wants flash the iPhone. Apple wont deliver it. Why you ask? In the state it’s in Flash is VERY unstable when running in OSX leading to why it isn’t on the Mobile platform. Because it’s so unstable it would cripple the browsing experience to extreme amounts. Safari would become sluggish and crash often. If Adobe stepped up it’s game and fixed up it’s CPU hogging plugin, I’m almost certain Apple would implement it. But ’till then, we’re hopeless.

Well the Apple event is over, and there was one announcement. There will be a recap later, but the big thing is the iPad. This is the Apple Tablet everyone has been talking about. This is incredible. It’s 9.56 inches high, 7.47 inches wide. It weighs around 1.5 LBS to 1.6 LBS (Depending on whether you have 3G model.) The size capacities are 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. It’s resolution is 1024 x 768. For more tech specs check out the official specs from Apple HERE. This iPad looks like a giant iPhone. The homescreen is just like that of an iPhone or iPod Touch. The dock is the glass leopard dock. You can also customize the background. It runs a modified iPhone OS so it does run App Store applications. It will have its own SDK for applications made specifically for this device. It has another store as well. The iBook Store. The iPad comes exclusively with the iBook application that allows you to read books from the Pad itself. The iBook Store is where you can buy books that download RIGHT to your device so that you can read them on install. Continue Reading…
